With higher kicks you can score more points in competitions and in actual combat your opponent should not be able to get close.

- METHOD -
We strongly recommend that you start gently and do not try to rush your progress - First warm your legs by gently jogging on the spot and then increase the speed of your jogging - Then do some leg raising exercises to loosen your hip joints - Next sit on the floor (as shown in the picture) with your back to a wall and pull the central handle until your legs are stretched comfortably apart - Now hold the central handle with your left hand - Then lean down your right leg with your right arm sliding down that leg - After a minute or two sit up and hold the central handle with your right hand and repeat the exercise down your left leg - Repeat the exrecise a few times BUT do NOT do too many also do NOT put too much pressure on your legs -- Next day repeat the above -- Then after a few days you can increase the pressure on your legs also the number of times you lean down each leg - it is IMPORTANT that you do not try to do too much at the start because you may cause an injury that will need time to heal and actually set back your progress
